Amazon is selling $4 billion worth, or nearly two-thirds, of its soy products at auction at a record-breaking price.
The online retailer has already spent $5.9 billion on soy products and is seeking to expand its portfolio of soy-based goods to more than $10 billion.
The company is also seeking to increase its stake in Soylent, a product that uses a powdered soy product, according to a regulatory filing.
The auction includes all soy products in its catalog, as well as many other foods, including fruit, dairy and meat products.
The bulk of the items on sale will go on Amazon’s online marketplace, which also includes the online marketplace for e-commerce.
The price tag on the auction includes a price for the entire soy product catalog, according the filing.
In total, the catalog was worth $8.9 trillion in 2016, according data from market research firm IBISWorld.
Amazon has been looking to increase soy sales since the company was valued at $1.6 trillion in 2015.
The e-tailer has been working with companies like PepsiCo, General Mills and Kellogg to increase the sales of soy.
Amazon’s announcement came on the heels of an announcement by the U.S. Department of Agriculture that the agency has suspended a program aimed at helping farmers and ranchers use soy as a feed supplement.
The USDA program was meant to help farmers get their crops producing as fast as possible by adding soy to their grain supplies.
The agency says it will no longer be accepting applications from farmers seeking to use the supplement.
In a separate announcement, Amazon announced a new program that allows shoppers to save up to $100 on Amazon.com products with a minimum purchase of $99, up from $79 currently.
The retailer is also selling a $35 box of Kraft Dinner Rolls that contain both soy and ground beef.
Amazon announced the new products as part of its “Amazon.com Day” program, which began in November.
The first day was October 31.
The program is a way for customers to get the best deals and freebies on a wide range of Amazon.co.uk products, as Amazon’s site has become the most visited on the Internet in recent months.
